Rear Door Lower Trim Removal and Installation
1. Rear Door Lower Trim - Remove

Remove the cap (A), then remove the screw.


2.
Cut the adhesive tape (B, C) along the edge of the door lower trim (D) with a utility knife while separating the trim from the door (E) with a trim tool.

NOTE: Apply protective tape around the cutting area.

3.
Slide the door lower trim forward and remove it.

NOTE: The clips (F, G) will stay in the door.

4.
Remove the clips by turning.

2. Rear Door Lower Seal - Remove

If necessary, remove the rear door lower seal (A) with the clips and double-sided adhesive tape (B).

1. Rear Door Lower Seal - Install

Install the rear door lower seal (A).

NOTE: Apply adhesive primer to the areas where the new double-sided adhesive tape (B) will be applied.

2. Rear Door Lower Trim - Install

If you are reusing the original door lower trim (A), apply primer to the areas where new double-sided adhesive tapes (B, C) will be applied, then attach the new double-sided adhesive tapes to the trim as shown.

Install the clips (A, B) on the door lower trim (C) or door (D).


3.
Install the door lower trim.

NOTE: Scrape off the remaining double-sided adhesive tape from the door, then clean the surface with a sponge dampened in isopropyl alcohol. After cleaning, keep oil, grease, and water from getting on the surface.

4.
Install the screw and the clips (E) to the door lower trim.

5.
Install the cap (F).
