Panoramic Glass Roof Sunshade Removal and Installation

Panoramic Glass Rear - Remove

Panoramic Glass Sunshade - Remove
1.
Remove the bracket (A).
2.
Repeat on the opposite side.
3.
Release the sunshade (A) from the sunshade shoes (B) as shown.
NOTE: Firmly hold the sunshade with both hands; otherwise the wind-up force will be transferred to the sunshade.
4.
Close the sunshade slightly.
5.
Turn marking (A) of the sunshade (B) until it is in the position that can be locked as shown in the lower figure.
NOTE:
Do not remove the sunshade from the bracket in this step.
If the sunshade is removed from the sunshade base, the spring is uncoiled, and the sunshade cannot be winded.
6.
Release the end of the sunshade roll shaft (A) from the sunshade base (B), then pull up the sunshade (C) as shown.
NOTE: Do not remove the other end of the sunshade from the bracket in this step.
7.
With the released end tilted up, slowly pull out the sunshade roll shaft (D), then lock the sunshade.
8.
Remove the sunshade.
9.
If necessary, remove the sunshade base (A).

All Removed Parts - Install
1.
Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
NOTE:
When installing the bracket (A) to the sunshade (B), fold the end of sunshade as shown.
If the spring is uncoiled when removing the sunshade, restore the wind-up mechanism by carrying out the following procedures.
?1.
Secure the flat part on the sunshade roll shaft (C) in a vise (D).
?2.
While pressing down the sunshade, rotate the sunshade 19 revolutions as shown.
?3.
Remove the sunshade from the vise.
NOTE: The wind-up mechanism should be locked up when removing the sunshade from the vise.
