DTC C0061-62: Lateral Acceleration Sensor Failure (Signal Compare Failure)
DTC C0062-62: Longitudinal Acceleration Sensor Failure (Signal Compare Failure)
DTC C0063-62: Yaw Rate Sensor Failure (Signal Compare Failure)
NOTE:
The yaw rate-acceleration sensor is built into the SRS unit.
Before troubleshooting, check the SRS unit for proper mounting. If not properly installed the VSA modulator-control unit may set these codes.

Problem verification:

Problem verification
?1.
Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.

?2.
Clear the DTC with the HDS.


?3.
Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode, then start the engine.

?4.
Test-drive the vehicle under these conditions:
Vehicle speed at 31 mph (50 km/h) or more for at least 20 seconds
Brake pedal released
Change lanes for a few times

NOTE:

Drive the vehicle on the road, not on a lift.
Be careful of the surrounding traffic conditions.

Check for DTCs with the HDS.

The failure is duplicated. Replace the SRS unit.?
     
NO
     
     
     
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Refer to intermittent failures troubleshooting. If the freeze data/on-board snapshot of this DTC is recorded, try to reproduce the failure under the same conditions with the freeze data/on-board snapshot.?
