Power Lumbar Support Motor Test

NOTE: SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations and the precautions and procedures before doing repairs or service.

2. Power Lumbar Support Motors - Test
NOTE: Before testing, make sure not to short the power lumbar support motors circuit.
1.
Test the power lumbar support motors by applying power and ground at the connector on the seat harness side according to the table. When the power lumbar support motors stops running, disconnect battery power immediately.

If the power lumbar support motors does not run or fails to run smoothly, then go to step 3.

Test the power lumbar support motors by applying battery power and ground to the terminals according to the table. When the power lumbar support motors stops running, disconnect battery power immediately.
5.
If the power lumbar support motors does not run or fails to run smoothly, the power lumbar support motors (A) is faulty; replace the power lumbar support assembly.
If the power lumbar support motors runs smoothly, replace the front seat wire harness.

3. All Removed Parts - Install

Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
