Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode, then the ON mode.

Check the BSI indicator comes on, and then goes off.

Does the BSI indicator come on, then go off?

     
YES
     
     
     
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Refer to intermittent failures troubleshooting.?
     
NO
     
     
     
Go to step 3.

Vehicle settings check:

Vehicle settings check

Check the BSI system is ON status, and make sure the BSI system customizing operation.

Is the BSI system ON?

     
YES
     
     
     
Go to step 4.
     
NO
     
     
     
Cancel the OFF status by operating the BSI customization.?

Gauge control module check:

Do the gauge control module self-diagnostic function.
