Turn the vehicle to the ON mode. |

Clear the DTC with the HDS.

?3. |
Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode. |
?4. |
Turn the vehicle to the ON mode, then wait for at least 2 seconds. |
?5. |
Check for DTCs with the HDS.

The failure is duplicated. Go to step 2. |

Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode. |

Disconnect the following connector.
Left BSI alert indicator 2P connector |
Right BSI alert indicator 2P connector | |

Connect terminals 1 and body ground with a jumper wire.

Remove the jumper wire from the BSI alert indicator 2P connector. |

Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2.

Remove the jumper wire from the BSI alert indicator 2P connector. |

Disconnect the following connector.

Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2.
