Panoramic Glass Roof Sunshade Cable Assembly Removal and Installation

NOTE: SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations and the precautions and procedures before doing repairs or service.

4. Panoramic Glass Cable Assembly - Remove
1.
Slide the shoe (A) on the sunshade cable towards the rear, and pull it out from the frame (B).
2.
Pull out the cable assembly (C).

5. All Removed Parts - Install

Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
NOTE:
Before install the sunshade cables (A), apply multipurpose grease to the guide rail areas of the frame (B) indicated by the arrow.
Make sure the sunshade cables are correctly installed.
Slide both shoes (C) to the front of the frame.
Before reinstalling the motor, make sure both shoes are parallel.
